WANDA TILLER
VOCALS

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Wanda Harris-Tiller is a dynamic female vocalist. She started singing at an early age realizing she has a tremendous gift to share through song. She co-founded a female group of three called “FOXII”, performed several years with them and was discovered by Bill Cosby’s Musical Director, Stuart “Stu” Gardner. Mr. Gardner recommended the group “FOXII to the late great jazz Saxophonist, Grover Washington Jr. “FOXII” toured with Grover Washington Jr. on the “Inside Moves” tour which featured “Pieces of a Dream” as the opening act and the rhythm section for him. This tour also featured such greats as the legendary Drummer and Vocalist, Mr. Grady Tate and the masterful Pianist, Mr. Phillip Woo.

In other noted accomplishments, Wanda was featured on the “House of Love” album written and produced by Stu Gardner and dedicated to Bill Cosby for “The Cosby Show” on NBC. Included in her repertoire are musical voiceovers for the hit TV shows “The Cosby Show” and “A Different World”. She toured twice abroad in Italy, Switzerland and Finland with Sacred Sounds rendition of “Sister Act” and performed a lead role in the play “Do What You Gotta Do” written and directed by the Playwright, Minister Garrett Davis. Wanda performed at the Landmark Theatre for a benefit concert sponsored by Stu Gardner. Bill Cosby was the MC and the show featured jazz greats such as Dave Valentin, a Grammy Award winning Flutist, Jon Faddis, an accomplished Trumpeter, and Richmond’s own Mayor Doug Wilder.

Recently, she performed with BS&M Band out of Richmond, VA at various shows including the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and at Hammersmith Farm (The Kennedy Family Center in Newport, RI. She is striving for unlimited heights in the industry including radio and TV appearances and she feels that she is up for the challenge. Wanda has also performed several engagements impersonating and performing “A Night with Wanda” singing Aretha Franklin’s greatest hits.
